English Translation of our Sunday Messages on demand
Thank you for taking the time to check us out. We are a group of people, both German and international, who are committed to Jesus, committed to each other, committed to the poor and the needy and to extending God’s kingdom to Munich and beyond.
Our vision is to be a community of people who experience
God’s love and presence and share it with others.
We are part of the Vineyard movement that started out of the Jesus People in the 1980s in California.
Our church was founded in 1990 out of a student ministry and became the first Vineyard in Germany in 1995.
We believe the church is not supposed to be about fancy buildings (but we do have our own building), great programs or charismatic personalities; rather we believe the church is people in relationship with God and with each other.
We do have a formal Sunday service but we dress informally. We sing both German and English songs and offer translation of the message. We gather after church for coffee and once a month for a meal. We also meet in home groups. We do these things that we might open up our lives to God and to each other. We also serve in the community in many ways especially through our weekly food bank (“Tafel”) and our charity “Perlacher Herz”.
We meet every Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m.
and offer translation from German into English on demand.
So if you are interested, please send us an email to office[at]vineyard-muenchen.de a few days before Sunday.
Our location is just off the B2R with onsite parking.
We’re about 25 mins from downtown via public transit.
